When kids explore and experiment in an informal learning environment, they learn - and have fun at the same time. Children who attend this event at Monona Library will have the opportunity to engage with low-tech materials, work alone or with others, and create.
Snowflakes all have 6 sides but that is where
the similarity ends. Learn the physics of how snowflakes form, how different
conditions make different structures, how you can experiment with snowflakes at
home. Make a "snowflake" to take home.
This special January program will inspire and motivate kids with fun, hands-on learning, enriching activities. Sign up.
Don't forget your library card! We will have books and DVDs available for you to check out and take home to play and learn some more!
