Your voice matters! This discussion session is designed for Tween participants to come together and talk about "This Book is Anti-Racist" by Tiffany Jewell. Not only will we delve into the book's contents and discuss, participants will also have the opportunity to brainstorm ways they can take action within their community.

This discussion will be followed up with a Zine Makerspace Series led by Rachel Werner, Creative Director of The Little Book Project in Wisconsin. The zine will be an opportunity for youth to express their voice on paper to the community in the form of a mini magazine that will be published for distribution. Youth who contribute can choose to be anonymous. Sign up for both sessions on July 14th and July 21st.

Copies of the book will be handed out at our Community Read Launch event on May 14th. Additional copies may be checked out from the library.
