Eco-Action Tuesdays: Build a Bat House Workshop

6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Event Details

Bats are a vital part of ecosystems, they consume agricultural pests and insect pests that bother humans, pollinate plants and disperse seeds. Learn more about the lives of bats from Aldo Leopold Nature Center naturalist Kaitlin Dunn Knudson.

The workshop will be held at the Dream Park Shelter in Winnequah Park, across the street from the Monona Library. After Kaitlin's presentation we will be constructing bat houses!

Registration is limited to 20 adult or teen participants and there is a limit of ONE bat house per family/household.

As always there will be free refreshments and a door prize!

This event is sponsored by MGE and Winnequah TerraCycle.
