OUTDOOR Storytime with Angelika

10:30 AM - 10:50 AM

Event Details

Storytime has moved outdoors! Join us on the “green” near the Schluter Rd. entrance of the library for Outdoor Storytime! Angelika will read books, sing songs, and share early literacy tips. Ages 2-5  but younger and older siblings/friends are always welcome.

How to participate:

  1. Fill out our Google Form to stay in communication with any updates to storytime, such as weather cancellations, special events, or alternate locations!

When you arrive:

  1. Parking is available near Schluter Rd. entrance, or if parking is full, you may park in the main library parking lot off of Nichols Rd and walk to the Schluter Rd. entrance.

  2. Masks are required to participate for ages 5+.

  3. Claim a marked spot in the grass for your family/small group. These spots are spaced 6ft apart! You are welcome to bring your own blanket to sit on.

  4. Please stay in your space for the duration of the program, unless we have a coordinated activity!

  5. If the number of attendees reaches maximum capacity, a second storytime will be presented right after the first one.

After storytime, you will have the opportunity to ask Angelika or Tiffany, both members of Youth Services staff, any questions you might have! We are always available for literacy tips, navigating reading with your children, and providing activity ideas to foster learning at home.
