Registration not required! This event will take place via Facebook Live on Monona Public Library's main Facebook Page.

Join Monona Public Library with author Sharee Miller on Facebook Live for a special National Women's History Month story time! Sharee Miller has written and illustrated the incredibly popular books "Princess Hair" and "Don't Touch My Hair", and will be reading her newest book, "Michelle's Garden"! From her website:

"Former First Lady Michelle Obama had an idea. A big, inspiring, and exciting idea! She would grow the largest kitchen garden ever at the White House. This wouldn’t be easy, since she’d never gardened before: Where should she start? What tools did she need? What would she plant?

Everyone needs help when they’re learning something for the first time, even the first lady of the United States. So she gathered the help of local students, the White House staff, and even President Barack Obama. Together, they wouldn’t just grow a garden — they would inspire a nation!"

Sharee will also do a demonstration for children that shows how she creates her phenomenal and full-of-life illustrations!

This event will take place on Facebook Live on the main Monona Public Library page! We encourage families to add comments to the live video if children have any questions for Sharee Miller, and Ms. Tiffany will ask them!
