Youth Services Coordinator and guest presenters entertain families with children's books and activities about nature and wildlife. This month we will have ideas for self-directed activities with a visit from Howard Thompson of Sno-Trek/Praise Dog. LLC    Howard will describe the equipment you need to go dog sledding, and how we train and reward the dogs for going down the trail safely. This will include the words we use to tell the lead dog where to go. He will also cover where you can go to see sled dog races or go for a sled dog ride.
