Eco-Action Tuesdays - Helping Pollinators: Build a Bee House Workshop

6:30 PM - 7:45 PM
Monona Public Library
Municipal Room

Event Details

There are 4000 species of native solitary bees in the US. They pollinate many different plants so it’s good to attract these non aggressive bees to your yard. One way to help them is to provide nest sites. Putting out bee houses will give the bees a safe, protected place to lay their eggs.

Join us to learn more about solitary bees from Mindy Habecker, Natural Resource/Community Development Educator at the Dane County Extension office, and build your own bee house to take home!

Adults teens and older children are welcome. Seating is limited so register soon!

There will be free refreshments and a door prize. Eco-Action Tuesdays is sponsored by MGE and Willy St. Co-op.
