Summer break is fast approaching, and now is the perfect time to get ready for babysitting jobs! Come and learn the important skills and qualities that make a great babysitter with Tiffany (the Tween and Teen Librarian). You’ll learn about:

• The basics of child development

• Advertising and interviewing for your babysitting services

• Important questions to ask prospective families who may employ you

• Storytime skills

• Arts and crafts

• Resources to help you expand your babysitting education

• How to use the library for activities with the kids you babysit

You will also have the opportunity to make a quick, healthy snack that will be helpful to you during your babysitting jobs! Please let us know if you have any allergy or dietary restrictions.
