In an entertaining and enlightening presentation, Professor Irwin Goldman from the UW-Madison Dept. of Horticulture will discuss his ongoing research in horticulture and human health, vegetable crop genetics, and vegetable
breeding. His talk may cover why medicine needs agriculture and practical medicinal uses of plant products. Professor Goldman is the Department Chair of the Horticulture Dept. and has published widely on many topics in plant pathology and genetics, botany, and agronomy. He also is a co-founder of platform for community-building around the developing field of organic seed production.
