“Inside each of us is a natural born storyteller just waiting to be released.” 

Story Jam returns with a great new lineup of people connected to Monona sharing short stories about themselves and their community. These 3-5 minute stories will be both funny and moving as people of all ages share their memories, thoughts, and life-changing experiences. Local musician and renowned storyteller Kevin Wilmott II will again emcee this popular event; story presenters include select MG21 alternative high school students and some very well known and surprise community members.  This event highlights our ongoing oral history initiative, One Community, Many Voices.  It’s free to attend, though space is limited, so be sure to get to the library early to grab your seats.  Refreshments provided by Willy Street Co-op and Monona Starbucks.
