Celebrate the Early Literacy Reading Program with Sharon Page and her famous circus dogs, Dash & Copper. Dash & Copper have performed at the AKC National Championships in Orlando, FL and were featured on Animal Planet in 2018. Their Monona Public Library performance will feature fun props, audience participation, and over 25 amazing tricks, including balance tricks, piano playing, and even basketball! You’ll also learn how Copper, a stray dog picked up in Appalachia, became a professional circus performer in just six months. Family fun for all ages!

For more information about the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Early Literacy program, go to http://mymonona.com/878/1000-Books-Program   Raise a reader! 1000 Books Before Kindergarten is a nationwide reading program which encourages parents and caregivers to provide positive, nurturing early experiences by daily reading aloud to their children ages birth to five. Reading to children builds vocabulary, language skills, and equips them with the skills they need for Kindergarten. We invite you to participate in this exciting, free program.
