The Death and Life of the Great Lakes
A Go Big Read Book Discussion

These are some of the things being said about Dan Egan’s award winning book: “Fascinating and brilliant...,” “Suspenseful, superbly informative, crucial,” “A marvelous work of nonfiction.” You too can discover what Dan has to say about the Great Lakes. We have a limited number of FREE books to give out to those interested in joining our book discussion! Ask for one at the circulation desk at the Monona Library. They will be available beginning October 1, on a first come basis until they have all been distributed. On October 16, Dan Egan will be giving a free lecture at UW-Madison, Memorial Union Theater – Shannon Hall at 7 PM. If at all possible attend this presentation before our discussion with Sarah Lange, UW-Madison iSchool graduate student, the following week at the Monona Library on October 23! There will be free refreshments and a door prize. Adults and teens welcome. Sponsored by MGE and Willy Street Co-op.
