Comfrey, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme: Preserving Fresh Herbs for Culinary and Medicinal Use

Jean Schneider, owner of Nativa Medica will give a hands-on demonstration, showing us how to preserve fresh herbs and create herb infused oils and honey. Jean will explain the use of preserved herbs for medicinal purposes, for example as teas and face steams during cold and flu season, or for digestive ailments that can happen anytime. Herb infused oils, which have both culinary and medicinal uses, will also be discussed. Participants will be provided with organic herbs and supplies to make and take home a jar of herb infused honey. Seating is limited so sign up soon! There will be free refreshments and a Door prize.
