Eco-Action Tuesdays Takes the Plunge!

6:00 PM - 7:45 PM

Event Details

NOTE THIS PROGRAM BEGINS AT 6:00 PM at the WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT, NOT THE LIBRARY. Please arrive at 1601 Moorland Rd, Gate #2 at 5:45 PM so we can begin promptly at 6:00 PM.

  • Take South Towne Drive, go straight at the roundabout, cross the railroad tracks, 2nd driveway on the right.
  • Presentation will begin at "Shop One" building just inside Gate #2 (two-story brick building near the road).

When water goes down the drain, it doesn't just go away. It travels through pipes to Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District's Nine Springs Wastewater Treatment Plant and is treated before being returned to the environment.

Pollution Prevention Specialist Emily Jones will share actions you can take to:

  • Conserve water to ensure an adequate supply of clean, fresh water for future generations.
  • Protect water from pollutants that could threaten human health or the environment.
  • Reflect the value of water in your actions.
