Event Details

PRESENTED BY THE MONONA STATE BANK

We are truly Mad (About) Science, and are in our thirteenth year of operation!!!  Each of the past ten summers we have created an Impact Show specifically tailored to the library system’s summer reading program theme … this year we have another great show coming your way, with many kid volunteers planned as always!  With the summer theme being “Build a Better World!” we will do experiments such as:  Building a human “kid” dome; Kids standing on eggs until they finally break; Windbag Structures; Demolition Catapults, Vortex-generating tools, balloon and mini-“dynamite” (firecracker) explosions; and Building a large Arch w/ keystone block.  We will also demo some of our new LEGO-neering construction gadgets!   Truly designed to please those of all ages … see you then J.

More information will be available after May 1st on our Summer Library Program website.
