Join Joe Muellenberg for a discussion of all things sweet potato. Learn about the Dane County Sweet Potato Project and how they are working to increase food security in our area communities and how YOU can make an impact. Learn about planting and caring for this amazing super food. Take home tips and tricks to grow and harvest sweet potatoes, as well as some fun, family-friendly sweet potato recipes. There will be an opportunity to sign up for free sweet potato slips to plant in your own garden this summer! Free refreshments and door prize!
Eco-Action Tuesdays is an exciting, new program based on the “Ripple Effect”. Beginning in our own backyard, we will explore sustainability issues through hands-on, entertaining presentations. Discover how eco-actions you take at home and share with others can “ripple” throughout the community. Programs are the fourth Tuesday, 6:30 pm.
